Stove clearances:
Walls, windows, curtains, mantles etc. A sheet metal heat shield can be used at an angle (Picture frame style) to protect you fireplace mantle.
(SIDES AND REAR) 36" to any combustible surface.
(Protected combustible wall) - 18" to a non-combustible surface. A 1" air space with non-combustible pipe spacers from a combustible wall protected by non-combustible material is acceptable.
(FLOOR protection)
Non-combustible floor protection is required on the floor 8 inches on either side of the stove and 16 inches in front of the stove.
